My name is Jules and I have battled with infertility.
Not being able to have a family nearly broke me in a
way that I could never have properly comprehended before the experience. It
wasn’t a physical pain but so much of me hurt. Everyday. Every. Moment. Of.
Everyday.
But then my very own wee miracle arrived after 3
years of trying to conceive that patched up my heart. She’s 5+ now. Wow time
really does fly.
Anyway, enough with the heavy emotional baggage.
I
gave up blogging, and I really gave up writing almost altogether, so my life
could be all about my family. My baby. My husband. My dog. Who are all my big,
enormous loves.
Now I want to get stuck back into writing and
blogging – mostly about books because reading is one of my absolute pleasures
and I enjoy sharing a good read as well as finding that fantastic
recommendation.
In the past I haven’t been one for setting new year’s
resolutions, but this year I want to make a small effort in that department.
So, my goals for 2019 are as follows –
1)Be happy and enjoy my family and friends and wee
small (often smelly) poodle.
2)Write more. Write every day that I can. Write anything
but WRITE.
3)Read – but who am I kidding that doesn’t really
need to be a goal as I’ve already finished 3 books 13 days into 2019.
4)Be happy. It’s a biggie so it should go first and
last.
I look forward to finding loads of new people and
blogs! I’m sure 2019 is going to be a good year.
